    I'll keep an eye on it, but I've decided to fly via Sydney on QF. In addition to the status credits, I also avoid the A330 and overnight in LA. And it's significantly cheaper too. Just a shame as the AA option would have been great.

    Odd is right. Whether I search via chrome or the qantas app I get the same results. BNE - ATL via DFW on QF4927 and QF4375 = a massive 20 status credits on a flex fare of $2,636.00. I tried to upload a screen shot, but doesn't seem to work.
