No wonder they like Australia.  With minimal competition for direct flights, their current fares, last time I looked, are red hot.Substantially cheaper to fly CX SYD-HKG-DEL than direct SYD-DEL, on Air India.And no cracked crockery as well!

Without First Class on the 787s, IMO Qantas are missing a valuable premium market.

Wonder why QF left First Class off the 787 long haul flights?I am sure there would be a market for this.As an as aside, I fley SYD_PER_FCO last week, never again, A380 to LHR via SIN & then onto FCO much more enjoyable in my opinion.

QF5 actually commences from SYD, with a brief stop in Perth, returns to SYD via Perth (another brief stop).
