I'm thinking of going with Vodafone and its global roaming pack where base data at home can be used, and its $5 per day.

Or do you think i should get an europe sim and phone call option from simcorner?

I will be in europe for 2 weeks and 3-4 days in qatar.

any suggestions?

Have a look at an eSim provider like airalo. download the app and no need to physically swap your sim. you can even run them in tandem . All this is providing your phone supports an eSim.

I use Amaysim here in Aus, and they have international roaming packs which are quite reasonable and super easy to set up. Best of all you dont need to swap sim cards, you just keep your Aus number operational while overseas.

I also use Amaysim both in Australia and when I’m overseas. Easy to set up and I only pay for calls, texts and data that I actually use, unlike a lot of other providers that charge a daily rate regardless of usage. It’s also better to keep my Australian number for two factor authentication, etc. Their customer service is also very good.

I should have added that the prepaid international roaming pack purchased from amaysim is valid for 365 days and unused calls, texts or data are rolled over onto a new pack when the original one expires.

I’ve used Airalo too, but the problem with them is that they expire in a very limited amount of time and unused credit is lost.

I've used an e-sim from Simcorner for my USA trip last year and had no issues. Very easy to set up.

Will be buying another e-sim for my 5 weeks in Europe from next week. 30GB data and 25 Euro of calls included for AUD$72. Great value. Better value than Airalo i think.
