Uber goes business class with Business Comfort rides
The upgraded rides feature premium vehicles and top-rated drivers.
Uber is giving its corporate travellers a ‘business class upgrade’ with the local launch of Uber Business Comfort in major Australian and New Zealand cities.
Now available as an exclusive service for organisations registered under Uber for Business, the perks include newer vehicles with more legroom and experienced high-rated drivers, who will also wait up to ten minutes for you to reach their vehicle.
Uber says its Business Comfort drivers will need to have made at least 500 trips, hold a consistent rating of 4.85 or above, and have a suitable vehicle that’s less than seven years old.
These are the same eligibility requirements as for Uber Comfort, meaning existing Uber Comfort drivers will automatically be entitled to Business Comfort trips.
There’s also access to dedicated Priority pick-up locations at Melbourne airport – another way to beat the queue and be on your way – plus access to ‘premium business support’ directly from the Uber app.
Uber Business Comfort is now available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide; and across the pond in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.

I still wish they would reinstate Uber Black. I want an HC car with a professional driver, not some random person with a beat up family Lexus.

Uber is starting to decline-esp post Covid-19. Dirty cars, older cars and indifferent drivers.

Agree with above comments, I've seen the decline of Uber more and more, dirty to very average cars, sky high prices and a lot of waiting around.

Has anyone noticed how downwards Uber Premium is.the service compared to what I have used over the years with Hughes,Astra,Smart Car and Citi Car doesn't look or feel very premium.last time I used it the drivers appearance was rather casual and I wondered how old was the actual car that showed up. I had an Audi on my last trip and it looked like it had seen better days.I contrast that with the Fords and Holdens I had when I first started using Limo rides and it was worlds apart.

Fully agree with above sentiments. Uber is nowhere near as good anymore. Rip off pricing. And Uber comfort?? The last few times I've used that option, the cars are no better than base Uber .... An old Holden captiva I got last time.

It depends on what service you get.Sometimes I have got Camry's,Hyundai Accents,SUV's of all sorts and Ford focus and VW Golf at one end of the extreme and at others things like a Lexus ES300 show up.I am hoping next month to do a one up man ship at my work where I show up in an Uber XL OR PREMIUM while the band of brothers still uses those primitive things known as suburban taxis who don't even have the capacity unless one orders a maxi cab/van to fit four in plus driver legally with room to spare. How the NDIS at disability enterprises allows such things in the absence of a local car industry that no longer in more years than I can remember offers six seat passenger vehicles disgusts me.little do they know all in one vehicle is a germs that spreads diseases for the home and the workplace.
